July 2011: On the eastern half of the project site, the concrete superstructure of the 39 level Tower will be completed. The Tower Cranes will remain in operation as they are required for the installation of the precast concrete cladding and the windows that enclose the building. This enclosure work will continue through the month of October.

On the western half of the project site (the north-west quadrant of the site) demolition of the existing garage will be completed and installation of new sheeting on the perimeter of the site will begin during the third week of July.

Depending on weather and wind conditions, both of the tower cranes on the site may be moving during non-working hours. It is considered safe practice to allow a tower crane to move or “weathervane” when out of service.
